Fairy Houses on Bear Island

Here is another sweet Bear Island tradition - Fairy Houses!

I used to build these as a kid the woods for my Matchbox cars and trolls.

There's a collection of them near St. John's Church that children have built over the years but you can spot them along the trails all over the island. I saw several near the Post Office at the North End as well.
